If you're new to Latourette Library or looking for an overview of what we offer, you've come to the right place! Latourette Library is an online collection of curated content, tools, and services designed to support you throughout your academic journey and beyond. It includes unique resources not easily found elsewhere, such as peer-reviewed articles, case studies, and evidence-based materials. Our library is also staffed by a professional librarian who is here to assist whenever you need help or have questions. Additionally, we are proudly partnered with the Ralf D. Winter Research Center, which holds valuable archives and special collections, enhancing the depth and diversity of our resources.

Sources
Sources consists of articles, e-books, videos, newspapers, and more that are provided to you through Latourette Library and Digital Theological Library.
Latourette Library provides access to EBSCO eBook collection as well as allows you to search through Ralph D. Winter Research Center and Providence Christian College’s physical materials.
Digital Theological Library provides digital access to over 100 databases allowing you to view well over a million books and articles and thousands of journals
The 2 most common ways to search for what you need:
WorldCat Discovery Search
WorldCat Discovery is the search bar located on the home pages of Latourette Library, Digital Theological Library 2 (for WCIU patrons), and Digital Theological Library Open Access (for Providence Christian College patrons).
These search bars are used to search multiple library locations and databases simultaneously and are useful for broad, introductory research.

Research databases
Research databases are used for more specific and in depth research. They typically have better searching and filtering capabilities making them ideal for locating more focused results. For more information on databases, checkout Guide to Searching.
Tools
Tools are created by Latourette Library’s librarian in order to help you use the library effectively and enhance your understanding of research.
Library Guides consist of How To Guides and Subject Guides.
How To Guides walk you through how to do a variety of things such as conducting research and using specific platforms or databases.
Subject guides provides information on a specific topic including relevant resources for the subject.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
FAQ’s provide immediate answers to commonly asked questions.
Locate videos that go over various topic related to the library and using its resources.
