Need Help? Two Ways to Contact Your Latourette Library Librarian

At Latourette Library, we are committed to making sure you have the support you need to navigate our digital resources. Whether you have a quick question or need in-depth research assistance, we now offer two convenient ways to get in touch with your librarian.

1. Fill Out a Help Ticket – Best for Quick Questions

If you have a basic question that can be answered via email, filling out a Library Help Ticket is the quickest and easiest way to get assistance. This option is great for:

✔️ Issues with login credentials
✔️ Help locating a specific book, article, or resource
✔️ Questions about library policies or access
✔️ Basic citation help
✔️ Any other quick inquiries that don’t require a live conversation

Once you submit a help ticket, the librarian will respond as soon as possible with the information you need.

2. Book an Appointment – Best for Personalized Assistance

We are excited to introduce a new option to eliminate confusion when scheduling across time zones: Book an Appointment! When you book a meeting, the system allows you to adjust availability to your local time zone, making scheduling easier than ever.

There are three appointment types available:

🔹 Research Consultation (45 min) – Ideal for in-depth research assistance. If you need help developing a research strategy, finding sources, or working on a complex topic, this is the best choice. Tip: When booking, include your research topic in the notes section to help the librarian prepare.

🔹 30-Minute Appointment – Great for general library assistance that may require some discussion but does not involve extensive research help.

🔹 15-Minute Appointment – Perfect for quick questions, troubleshooting, or brief guidance on library resources.

No matter which option you choose, we’re here to support you on your academic journey. Whether you need a quick answer via a help ticket or a personalized session through an appointment, your librarian is just a click away!
